Location: 4 Minutes to Madrid’s Main Attractions

  • North of the city center
  • 1-minute walk to Gregorio Marañón station and a 4-minute ride to the main attractions

Rooms That Work for a Family of 5

  • Twin room and a King room with a very nice pullout couch
  • Very clean, with a good layout and a closet
  • Small fridge for drinks and tea/coffee supplies
  • Very quiet

Breakfast & Regency Club Lounge

  • With status, choose between breakfast at the club lounge or the buffet on the first floor.
  • We chose the buffet most days because the selection was fantastic with plenty of vegetarian options.
  • The lounge was in a small area adjacent to the breakfast area, separated by a curtain. Small, but with lots of snack options and plenty of food for a light dinner.

Service & Check-In

  • Staff were absolutely lovely.
  • Housekeeping was provided daily.

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in was seamless, and our rooms were ready when we arrived.
  • With our Guest of Honor, we got lounge access upon arrival and grabbed snacks and drinks before heading out to explore.
  • Check-out is at 12 pm, and we didn’t need late check-out.

Value

  • This hotel was more central than Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower hotel and only a few minutes to all the major sites. The kids liked the area because it was nicely decorated for the holidays, had great food, and was walkable to a mall and the Real Madrid Stadium (Santiago Bernabéu).

Would We Stay Again?

Yes, I would 100% stay again. The location, food, and access to transit and shops are perfect!

What we loved

  • The breakfast and lounge cannot be beat for the value and quality of food/service.

Drawbacks

What to know before you book

  • While it is not in the heart of Madrid, it is so close and much more affordable than the central Hyatt hotels. Plus, the lounge was fantastic for us!

I think it was great for our family. Although it is not right in the center of the city, it was a great value, had a fantastic breakfast and lounge, and was only steps away from public transit.

It is a category 5 hotel and we paid 18K per room, per night. Currently the rooms are ranging from 20-25K per night.

Only with Globalist status or with a Guest of Honor certificate.
